Show Day Details

WHAT TO DO/BRING

BRING COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES: While it seems obvious, please double-check and be sure you have all the costume pieces and accessories on show day. An extra pair of tights is always a good idea! ( We have extra at the studio for sale)
BRING WATER: There is no drinking fountain in the dressing room, so bring water from home! Please do not send bottles that leak or will spill if tipped over. Please leave the Stanleys at home!
COME DRESSED AND READY IN COSTUME! Dancers need to arrive at the recital with their hair and makeup done, dressed in their first costume. Dancers need to wear their recital t-shirt over their costume. (Reference the PDF for which costume your dancer will need to come dressed in)
(BE SURE YOUR RECITAL SHIRT IS LABELED)
COLORING: Most dancers will be busy throughout the show; some will have some downtime. Dressing moms will have coloring books and crayons for younger dancers. We also do our best to have a live stream of the show in the dressing room for backstage dancers - but no promises! (Sometimes technology doesn’t work in our favor.)

WHAT NOT TO BRING

DO NOT BRING EXTRA SHOES OR CLOTHING IN YOUR DANCE BAG.
DO NOT BRING ENERGY DRINKS, SODAS, OR JUICES. The only drink that can be brought backstage is WATER!
DO NOT ALTER YOUR RECITAL T-SHIRT BEFORE THE SHOW. Older dancers will wear the shirt on stage for the finale, and younger dancers will wear the shirt if returning to the audience for Act 2. Please do not cut, crop, or alter the shirt in any way before the show.
DO NOT BRING ELECTRONIC DEVICES. We are not responsible for any broken or lost devices.
NO SLIME!! Enough said!
NO NEEDOHS or any other goo-filled squishy type fidget toy.
